AssetCool Appoints Johanna Horz as Chief of Staff

AssetCool today announced the appointment of Johanna Horz as Chief of Staff, where she will serve as a close strategic partner to the CEO and help drive the company’s next phase of growth.

In the role, Horz will align AssetCool’s rapidly growing commercial pipeline with its deep R&D program spanning chemistry, robotics, software and drones. She will also lead strategic initiatives, helping translate company priorities into rapid, coordinated execution.

Horz brings extensive experience scaling businesses at the intersection of energy, technology and finance. Most recently, she served as Group Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy at Wetility, where she helped build the operating structures behind the South African solar fintech’s growth and product adoption. 

Earlier, Horz worked at Kroll and The Risk Advisory Group in London, advising investors and businesses on investment risk and market entry across sub-Saharan Africa. She is also the founding director of ZARYA Group, an advisory practice focused on growth strategy and communications in complex markets, and holds an MSc in African Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
