Retrofit Existing Coating Lines

Our Capacity-1 robot offers in-situ surface modification of overhead conductors can address overhead lines in a cost efficient and novel way: Line Uprating & Corona Noise Reduction.

Deployed At Scale

The Capacity-1 robot has already been successfully demonstrated over multiple kilometres, with partners reporting verified improvements in both capacity and noise performance.

Creating a Platform

AssetCool is developing the next generation of powerline coating robots that will join the CapacityN platform to coat faster, maneuver around obstacles, and improve the overall safety and execution of operational teams.

In 2024, AssetCool successfully piloted its Capacity-1 robot in Canada, coating a 132kV wind farm tie line to provide additional needed megawatts of power connecting to the main transmission line. Today, our robots have seamlessly coated over 100x more length of conductors around the world.
