AssetCool today announced the expansion of its U.S. operations, strengthening its presence in North America with the addition of senior leadership to support commercial growth, utility partnerships and large-scale deployment.

The expansion comes at a pivotal moment for the U.S. power sector. Rapid growth in data centers, electrification and industrial demand is placing unprecedented pressure on existing transmission and distribution infrastructure. AssetCool’s robotic grid upgrades are designed to help utilities and asset owners unlock data centre scale  capacity additions by enhancing the performance of both new and existing assets.

As part of the expansion, AssetCool has appointed three senior leaders to its U.S. team:

Steve Hambric brings more than 20 years of experience across the grid and utility sector, with a track record of commercializing advanced grid technologies and scaling utility partnerships in North America. Prior to joining AssetCool, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at LineVision and as President of North America at eSmart Systems, where he worked closely with utilities to deploy technology platforms that improve grid performance, reliability, and capacity. As Chief Commercial Officer at AssetCool, Hambric leads U.S. commercial strategy, customer engagement, and deployment partnerships as the company accelerates adoption of its grid-enhancing coating and robotic platforms.

Jessica Harrison, Vice President of Regulatory Engagement

Jessica Harrison brings multi-disciplinary experience across public policy, financial and economic analysis, and engineering, with a career focused on tracking power-sector trends and developing strategies to adapt to rapid system change. Prior to joining AssetCool, she served as Managing Director at Sequoia Energy Advisors and as Executive Director of Strategy at VEIR, where she worked at the intersection of regulation, standards development, and energy investment decision-making. At AssetCool, Harrison leads regulatory strategy and engagement, supporting utility adoption and alignment with evolving market, policy, and reliability requirements across the U.S. power sector.

Winter Wilson, Head of Marketing

Winter Wilson leads marketing and communications at AssetCool, supporting the company’s U.S. expansion and engagement with utilities and industry partners. She brings extensive experience advising and helping build early-stage advanced grid and clean technology companies, having directly supported dozens of founders through commercialization, positioning, and market entry. Prior to AssetCool, Winter led marketing and community engagement at Joules Accelerator and served as Chief Marketing Officer of climate startup OnePointFive. At AssetCool, she oversees brand positioning, communications, and marketing as the company scales deployment across North America.

Together, the expanded team will support AssetCool’s growing U.S. customer base, deepen collaboration with utilities and infrastructure owners, and accelerate deployment of the company’s robotic and photonic coating and robotic application platforms across North America.

“The U.S. has become an epicentre of grid congestion, driven by its global leadership in artificial intelligence and the resulting surge in electricity demand.” said Niall Coogan, CEO of AssetCool. “We are excited to be expanding our U.S. presence with such incredible talent, reflective of both the demand we are seeing from the market and our confidence that AssetCool’s technology can help address near-term capacity needs.”

Unlike traditional infrastructure upgrades that rely on lengthy permitting and construction processes, AssetCool’s solutions enhance the thermal and operational performance of existing assets. This enables faster capacity gains while maintaining safety and reliability standards – an approach that is becoming increasingly attractive as utilities and customers seek deployable solutions measured in months, not years.
