November 2025 Leeds, UK AssetCool, a company developing the technology to robotically upgrade overhead transmission lines, has been awarded £950,000 through Innovate UK Investor Partnerships Programme to broaden its ambitious portfolio of grid robotics innovations. The project will enable AssetCool to transform the way utilities deploy, operate, and maintain transmission infrastructure by driving down the cost and complexity of getting fleets of robots on overhead lines.
